ICARE Volunteer Work Day

New and Old Residents of Izard County: Join Us for a Pawsitively Impactful Work Day at Izard County’s Animal Shelter!
We need passionate volunteers like YOU to help us create a better environment for our furry friends! Join us for a fun-filled day of teamwork and love as we enhance the shelter facilities.
If you are new to Izard County, we’d LOVE to meet you! This would be a great opportunity for all the new residents to meet each other while making a difference in the lives of these animals looking for a home.
Volunteer Duties Include:
Building a pergola to provide much-needed shade for our lovable dogs.
Spreading wood chips to ensure our pups stay clean and comfortable—no more muddy paws!
Bathing our furry residents—let’s give them the pampering they deserve!
Cleaning windows to brighten up their living spaces.
Painting the storage building for a fresh, welcoming look.
Planting shade trees to create a cool, inviting outdoor space.
Finishing concrete floors to spruce up the entry room.
When: Sat Oct 5th at Noon
Where: ICARE Shelter 214 Circle Dr. Melbourne, AR 72556, Next to the Izard County Sheriff’s Office.
This is a wonderful opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of our animals and enjoy a day of camaraderie meeting newcomers, and developing community spirit.
All skill levels are welcome, but carpentry would be a huge bonus! —The animal shelter does not have tools, so if you can help build a pergola, please label and bring your own tools.
Together, we can create a better home for these deserving pets.
